Prime time tarpon season has begun and the schools of Tarpon are arriving right now in good numbers. The spring time warming trend brings the schools of Tarpon in for their annual spawning season. We are getting nice fish on every trip now. The below photos are of Capt Kevin having an excellent week of putting our customers on a mix of Tarpon in the 60-120lb class. Get em off your bucket list... It's not too late to book for this season and we recommend getting on the schedule now for our prime time tarpon charters which run now through the middle of June. We are a close drive from Big Pine Key, Key West, Islamorada, Marathon, Duck Key, Hawks Cay, Faro Blanco, and other popular areas of the Florida Keys. 2/28/16: Fishing Report - Everglades City, Chokoloskee, 10000 Islands

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been ranging this week between 65-69 degrees. February is proving to be quite the windy month, but hey, it's winter and we expect some of that. Typical to our mid winter fishery, we have been targeting a lot of Speckled Trout out on the grass flats and Sheepshead in the deep rocky pockets inshore. Most days the past two weeks have provided our anglers with limits of trout. We have also been catching a few Redfish and Black Drum lately. They are not prime right now, but with some persistence and some properly placed casts, the rewards can be fruitful. The wind kicked up to 25mph out of the North/West two days ago and got everything pretty muddy and messed up but things have settled and the water has cleared up. Notable catches in photo below since the last report: 31lb Permit for Brian and Tim, 32" Snook for 89 year old Bert, 24 lb Black Drum for Paul Wicklund, and some other nice Reds, Trout, and Drum for Dick and Tom.  It's a great winter fishery here with some good eats for the table for sure! Isn't it time you got out and fished with us in the 10000 islands from Chokoloskee & Everglades City? Be sure to get on the web site and book a trip with any of our fantastic fleet Captains. 2/1/16: Fishing Report - Everglades City, Chokoloskee, 10000 Islands

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been ranging this week between 60-65 degrees. We had some bad weather last week blow in with 30 mph winds, cold temps, and a lot of rain, so everyone had a few days off the water. Now that the weather has straightened up and the daytime temperatures are back in the high 70's, the fishing is picking up and will continue to improve each day. On Saturday Capt Pete's crew got into a pile of nice Speckled Trout out on the flats. Capt Gary's crew got some nice sheepshead, trout, and a couple of reds. Sunday Capt Pete and Capt Kurt got into more trout, sheepshead, and a couple of nice redfish, and today Capt John is banging up a nice box of trout. It's a great winter fishery here with some good eats for the table for sure! Isn't it time you got out and fished with us in the 10000 islands from Chokoloskee & Everglades City? 12/14/15 Fishing Report: Everglades City, Chokoloskee, & Goodland, FL

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been ranging this week between 70 and 73 degrees. November started out to be a stellar month and the Redfish and Black Drum bite was nothing but spectacular. Live bait flooded the area and the fish cooperated. Just prior to Thanksgiving the wind kicked up and stirred things up a bit so we had to work a little harder, but still got into some awesome days of fishing. We are now at our normal start to our winter fishing patterns. The flats are filling up with some real nice speckled sea trout, the deep cuts in the rivers are loading up with sheepshead, the oyster bars in the rivers are holding a few decent reds, and lots of other action fish are now in the area both on the flats and inshore waters. Below are photos of recent trips where Lou and Jimmy caught an identical pair of 30" snook, Kevin caught a beautiful sheepshead, and Kevin, Ray, and Bob got some fantastic eats of reds and black drum. Isn't it time you got out and fished with us from Chokoloskee, Everglades City, or Goodland? Be sure to get on the web site and book a trip with any of our fantastic fleet Captains.
