Fishing Report 10/10/16 Everglades City, Chokoloskee, 10000 Islands FL

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been ranging this week between 80 and 82 degrees. Our late Summer/early Fall fishing patterns are on and we have been catching Redfish, Snook, Black Drum, Trout, Snapper and more! The redfish bite is very good right now and we are getting them on the hard bottom oyster bars and outside islands. The Snook are loving love bait on the outside barrier island as they fatten up and will be headed into the rivers for the Winter in the next month or so. The Mangrove Snapper are decent size right now too. Some very nice trout are being caught on the grassy flats. Below are photos of recent catches in the last couple of days. Come fish with our guides here in the Ten Thousand Islands: Capt Kurt, Capt John, Capt Brandon, Capt Jeff, Capt James, Capt Gary, and Capt Pete.  Isn't it time you got out and fished with us in the 10000 islands from Chokoloskee & Everglades City? Be sure to get on the web site and book a trip with any of our fantastic fleet Captains. Check our "Seminars and Events" link on the website for dates and locations of our current workshops around Southwest FL. Fishing Report 7/12/16 Everglades City, Chokoloskee, 10000 Islands FL

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been ranging this week between 87-89 degrees. Summer time fishing patterns are here and the fishing has been great. Redfish have been around in good numbers. This time of year we get a good mix of the little "Rat Reds" along with some hefty slot size fish. The trout bite remains strong and the flats have been alive with action early morning until the peak heat of the day when the bite has been slowing down a bit. The mid to late afternoon rain showers have been regular so we have been able to get some awesome 4 and 6 hour trips in without much of an issue with weather. Below are photos of some of our recent catches. Come fish with our guides Capt John, Capt Kurt, Capt Brandon, Capt Gary, and Capt Pete.  Isn't it time you got out and fished with us in the 10000 islands from Chokoloskee & Everglades City? Be sure to get on the web site or give us a call to book a trip with any of our fantastic fleet Captains.
