Fishing Report September 15th 2011

It's the middle of September and the outside temperatures have come down a bit this week. We will start to see a gradual change in water temperatures as we head towards fall weather patterns. We are still leaving the dock at 7:00am in order to get a good 4-6 hours of fishing in before the bite wanes from the heat of the day. Here in Chokoloskee and the Everglades City areas of the Everglades National Park, we are catching an awesome amount of Redfish right now. The Snook bite remains decent on the outside. Next month we will begin to fish the rivers again with their anticipated annual migrations towards the back country. Trout bite is also excellent. Come book a fishing charter with Captain Rapps Charters and get in on the action!
