Fishing Report 1/4/17 Everglades City, Chokoloskee, Goodland, 10000 Islands FL

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been unseasonably warm this week ranging between 73 and 76 degrees. With air temperatures still in the 80's we have had a warm start to our winter season. The patterns are not typical with this warm water, but we have getting some nice Trout, Sheepshead, Pompano, Black Drum, Flounder, Snapper, Mackerel, along with a few nice redfish and more!  We have been catching some nice Flounder on the outside oyster bars and hard bottom while targeting redfish. A good quantity of trout are being caught on the grassy flats. Pompano have been hitting on jigs on the grass flats. Come fish with our guides here in the Ten Thousand Islands: Capt Kurt, Capt John, Capt Brandon, Capt Jeff, Capt James, Capt Gary, Capt Austin, and Capt Pete.  Isn't it time you got out and fished with us in the 10000 islands from Chokoloskee, Everglades City, or Goodland, FL? Be sure to get on the web site and book a trip with any of our fantastic fleet Captains. Check our "Seminars and Events" link on the website for dates and locations of our current workshops around Southwest FL.
