4/16/16: Fishing Report Chokoloskee, Everglades City, 10000 Islands

The water temperatures here in the near coastal waters and river areas of the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park have been ranging this week between 79-82 degrees. Our Spring time fishing pattern is on and the catches have been great. We have been catching Redfish, Trout, Snook, Black Drum, Triple Tail, Flounder, Sharks, Cobia, Permit and more! The Snook have pushed out of the back country and are in their typical spring pattern of heading to the river mouths and coastal island areas. The redfish bite has picked up and we are getting them on the hard bottom oyster bars and outside islands. Some very nice trout are being caught on the grassy flats. Below are photos of recent catches in the last couple of days. Come fish with our guides Capt John, Capt Kurt, Capt Gary, and Capt Pete.  Isn't it time you got out and fished with us in the 10000 islands from Chokoloskee & Everglades City? Be sure to get on the web site and book a trip with any of our fantastic fleet Captains. Check our "Seminars and Events" link on the website for dates and locations of our current workshops around Southwest FL.
