10/24/17: Fishing Report Chokoloskee and Everglades City, FL

The water temperatures in the areas we fish in the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park this second half of October have been typical to this time of year, and are currently ranging between 80 and 82 degrees. We are spending most of our time fishing the outside flats, shorelines, oyster bars, and nearshore areas here out of Chokoloskee and Everglades City. There have been some very nice Snook, Redfish, Black Drum, Trout, Black Drum, and Snapper around. Our team Captains, John, Brandon, Kurt, Pete, and Austin have been fishing charters this past week, mostly out of Everglades City and Chokoloskee, and have been catching and releasing some beautiful snook on live bait, and have been catching some big numbers of very nice slot sized Reds and Trout. Come fish with our team of guides here in the Ten Thousand Islands: Photos below are from some of our recent charters this past week.
