7/24/18 Fishing Report Everglades City & Chokoloskee, FL

7/24/18: Fishing Report: This week the water temperatures in the areas we fish in the 10000 Islands and the Everglades National Park right now have been ranging between 83 and 87 degrees.  Now that we are in our typical summer patterns with daily afternoon storms we have been getting out early and back to the dock before storms and heat.  We are still fishing the outside shallow flats and oyster bars around the barrier islands and offshore structures.  The highlight of the month has been the Permit and Snook. The Permit have been averaging 12-25lbs eating live crabs and jigs. The Snook have been averaging 20-36” and preferring live pilchards. Team Captains Brandon, Austin, Tyler, and Kurt have been targeting these fish on six hour charters fishing out of Everglades City and Chokoloskee.  They have also been fishing the grass flats on the four hour trips with catches of Sea Trout and Pompano. Both of which have provided great table fare for clients.

Come fish with our team of family friendly guides here in the quite Ten Thousand Islands. Just a short drive from Naples, Marco Island, Ft Myers, Ft Lauderdale, & Miami Florida.
